CPF Board's Community Paying it Forward movement turned two on 28 April 2023! Together with Minister of State for Manpower Ms Gan Siow Huang, we commemorated this milestone with a celebration for our volunteers, who have dedicated their time to help others better plan for their retirement.

Celebrating CPFV Achievements

CPF Board launched the Community Paying it Forward movement on 28 April 2021. Since last year, the CPF Volunteering (CPFV) movement has seen a 20% increase in strength and we now stand at 5,200 volunteers strong. We also saw a 100% increase in the number of volunteers participating in our events.

Together, volunteers have made more than 20,000 referrals online for retirement sum top-ups, voluntary housing refunds and CPF nominations since the inception of the movement.

Thank You Volunteers!

This movement would not have been possible without the contributions from our volunteers who are passionate in sharing the benefits of CPF for members to better prepare for retirement.

Launch of the new CPFV mobile app

As we continuously strive to enhance the volunteering experience, in the second half of this year, volunteers can look forward to a revamped CPFV mobile app. It will bring volunteers through a personalised user journey with enhanced interactive features such as customisable avatars, in-app event registration and tiered challenges.

Providing More Upskilling Opportunities

To cater to the specific needs of various groups of volunteers, CPF Board partnered with the Institute for Financial Literacy (IFL) and IMDA to curate workshops and content for the recently launched Volunteer Foundation Training Programme (VFTP).

The VFTP is a structured upskilling curriculum that is tailored to build volunteers’ financial literacy and enhance their digitalisation knowledge. Opportunities to boost digital literacy skills are also available at E-Xperience Training workshops.
