A Supplement plan provides coverage on top of your basic plan with additional benefits such as higher monthly payout amounts and broader disability coverage.

You need to be an existing policyholder under CareShield Life or ElderShield to purchase a Supplement plan.

Private insurers handle the premiums and claims for your Supplement plan.

Supplement plan premiums can be paid using MediSave (yours or family member's such as spouse, parent, child, sibling or grandchild) up to $600 per person per year. Any amount exceeding this limit must be paid in cash.

Premiums vary widely depending on the type of benefits offered by each plan.
