To safeguard your data, CPF Mobile is equipped with security features to prevent unauthorised access to your CPF account. Access to CPF Mobile is disabled and a notice on potential vulnerabilities is displayed when we detect certain issues. These are categorised as follows:

Apps from non-official app stores
|
- If the notice displays the names of the problematic app(s), uninstall the app(s) shown in the notice
- If the notice does not display the names of the problematic app(s),
- Android users: Use the V-Key Diagnostic app* to identify problematic apps and then uninstall them
- iOS users: Write to us with troubleshooting ID for further assistance

Malware
|
|
Jailbroken/rooted devices
|
|
|
Enabled screen sharing access or screen recording
|
- Stop your screen recording or close any screen sharing app to prevent potential scammers from seeing your personal information
|
|
Virtual space
|
- Remove CPF Mobile from the virtual space app
- Reinstall CPF Mobile app outside of the virtual space
- Be aware that using CPF Mobile in a virtual space poses potential security risks

|
Access through emulator
|
- Ensure that you are accessing CPF Mobile directly from your mobile device and not through an emulator
|
|
Developer options enabled
|
- Go to device settings > Developer options > ensure “Developer options” is turned off
|
*This can be downloaded from the
Google Play Store. Upon running the V-Key Diagnostic app, a pop-up notification will appear if there are malicious apps installed on your mobile device.
