This depends on your employment type.
For an employee and/or platform worker1,2
We usually pay your Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) two months after the month you worked. You will receive WIS for every month you work.

e-services with your Singpass to check your payment details after the payment has been made to your bank account or via GovCash.
For a self-employed person (SEP)
You will get WIS payment yearly for work done in the previous Work Year (WY).
To get the earliest payment by end April of the following WY (WY + 1), you need to complete these by 31 March of the following year (WY + 1):
- Declare your net trade income (NTI) to IRAS
- Make your corresponding MediSave contributions in full based on your declared NTI earned in the WY without accounting for previous years’ losses
If you declare your income and make your MediSave contributions after 31 March of the following year (WY + 1), you will get your WIS within two months after you complete making your MediSave contributions.
