I am an employee and/or platform worker, while also earning income as a self-employed person (SEP). How much Workfare Income Supplement will I receive in the same year?
You are considered a dual or multi status worker if you have more than one work status in the same year (employee, platform worker, self-employed person).

There are two parts to the Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) payment:

Monthly payments: Based on your employee and/or platform worker income if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Additional payment: After you declare your self-employment income (if any) and contribute the required MediSave in full, we’ll assess your eligibility.

You may receive additional WIS if your average monthly combined income qualifies for a higher WIS amount that what you already received and does not exceed the $3,000 threshold per month.

How much you receive will depend on your total income across all work types. Please refer to this FAQ for the maximum WIS amounts.
