In the event of unsuccessful GIRO payment for your renewal premiums, the premiums will be deducted from MediSave. If your monthly GIRO deductions fail for two consecutive months, your payment plan will be suspended and you will need to write to us to request reactivation, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We will impose new interest and penalties on your outstanding MediShield Life and/or CareShield Life premiums if your GIRO application is rejected or GIRO deductions are suspended.
