I was born in 1979 or earlier. Can I join or upgrade to CareShield Life?
If you are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident born in 1979 or earlier and do not have any pre-existing disability, you can join CareShield Life. This applies whether you:
  • Previously opted out from ElderShield or did not qualify to join ElderShield
  • Are currently covered under ElderShield and wish to upgrade to CareShield Life 
To join or upgrade to CareShield Life, you can apply via Application to join CareShield Life form using your Singpass. You may need to undergo a disability assessment, and will be informed by the Agency of Integrated Care if this is required.
