Can taxi principal hirers who are not liable to make a MediSave contribution qualify for Drive and Save (DAS) co-contribution from their taxi operators?
Taxi principal hirers who do not have outstanding MediSave payable can still receive Drive and Save co-contributions if they make contributions to pre-pay their future MediSave payable1:
 
  • A contribution of at least $20 to their MediSave Account monthly, or
  • A lump sum MediSave contribution of at least $240 in the past 12 months. 
1 Taxi principal hirers may make MediSave contributions to pre-pay their MediSave payable as self-employed persons via Manage your MediSave payable.
