    1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are in addition to CPFB’s Website Terms of Use (https://www.cpf.gov.sg/member/terms-of-use) and Privacy Policy (https://www.cpf.gov.sg/member/privacy-statement). You are deemed to have accepted CPFB’s Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy if you proceed to (i) appoint a Trusted Contact (“TC”) or (ii) accept the appointment to be a TC.
    2. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and CPFB’s Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, these Terms shall prevail with respect to the appointment of a TC or acceptance of appointment as a TC.
    3. By agreeing to the Terms, you consent to the conditions for using the Trusted Contact service detailed below.
    4. By using the Trusted Contact service as appointer of a TC or appointee as a TC, you acknowledge and agree that CPFB shall not be liable to you or to indemnify you for any losses, damages, claims, costs or expenses ("Losses") which you may incur arising from or in connection with your usage of this service, including any failure, delay, or non-receipt of notifications under this service, regardless of the cause.

    1. You may appoint a TC using the Trusted Contact service. A TC will be able to receive a copy of your CPF transaction notifications whenever certain transactions are performed in or through your CPF account (the list of such transactions are as set out in paragraph 3.2 below). You agree to disclose CPF information included in these transaction notifications to your TC as part of using the Trusted Contact service. This consent remains valid until the appointment is revoked.

    3. The CPF member you appoint (i.e. your appointee) to be your TC must be a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident aged 21 years old and above. Your appointee must have both a valid email address and a local mobile number registered with CPFB to be eligible to be appointed as a TC for the purposes of receiving notifications arising from the use of the Trusted Contact service, and for receiving copies of your transaction notifications whenever certain transactions are performed in or through your CPF account. You agree to provide your appointee’s name, NRIC number and your relationship with your appointee to CPFB for verification and record. You warrant that your appointee consents to you disclosing the said information to CPFB for the purposes of this Trusted Contact service. You agree to the disclosure of your name and NRIC number to your appointee as stated in paragraphs 2.4 and 2.5 below.
    4. Upon the successful submission of your TC appointment request, your appointee will be informed of your name and will have 7 calendar days from your submission date to accept the appointment. If your appointee does not respond within the 7 calendar days, your appointment request will expire. You may withdraw your appointment request anytime within these 7 calendar days as long as the appointment request remains pending for your appointee’s response.
    5. Your appointee may accept or decline your TC appointment request. Once they accept, they will also be able to view your NRIC number. Your appointee will only be accorded the rights and powers of a TC when they accept the appointment request.
    6. You can appoint up to a maximum of 2 TCs. You may revoke any of your appointed TCs anytime via the Trusted Contact service. Once CPFB has processed the revocation application, the accompanying rights and powers of a TC will also be removed.
    7. Your TC appointment(s) will not be revoked should you become mentally incapacitated after successful appointment of your TC(s). Your Deputy or Donee may, however, separately decide and instruct CPFB to revoke your TC appointment(s).

      3. Bank account update
      4. Daily withdrawal limit update

    4. If you have accepted an appointment to be a TC, you warrant that you shall use the shared CPF information solely for the benefit of your appointer.
    5. A TC appointment does not accord the same legal powers as a Donee or a Deputy. If you are appointed as a TC, and in the event your appointer loses their mental capacity after your appointment, the Deputy or Donee of the appointer may instruct CPFB to revoke your appointment as the TC.
  4. CPFB’S Rights
    1. CPFB reserves the right to accept or reject any request for the appointment and removal of a TC for any reason.
