CPF’s 2026 Members’ Affinity Survey (or Communications Survey) will be conducted from October 2026 to January 2027. If you are one of the selected individuals, we look forward to your participation and support!
What is the CPF Members’ Affinity Survey?
The CPF Members’ Affinity Survey is an annual survey to understand Singaporeans’ perceptions towards the CPF system and to identify areas for improvement with the communications and engagement initiatives carried out by the CPF Board.
Appointed Survey Company
For 2026, we have commissioned Verian Group Pte Ltd, a market research company, to conduct this survey. Verian has authorised its fieldwork partner, Data Ascend Pte Ltd, to conduct the interviews from October 2026 to January 2027, between 10 am and 9 pm daily.
Verian Group Pte Ltd, Data Ascend Pte Ltd, and their interviewers are required to adhere to strict data security and protection measures.
The interviewers will never ask you for your NRIC, personal bank and Singpass login credentials (e.g. login passwords, token/SMS One-Time Password (OTP), passkey). If you encounter any such requests, please do not share any information and contact us immediately via email at Comms_Survey@cpf.gov.sg.

How can I tell if the communications I received regarding the Members' Affinity Survey or if the interviewers are legitimate?
CPF members are randomly selected for the survey. Selected individuals will first receive a letter by mail detailing the different ways to access the survey.
Selected members may also receive an email invitation from the CPF Board to participate in the survey online. If they prefer another mode of participation, such as completing the survey offline, they may contact the authorised vendors mentioned above to make alternative arrangements as set out in the letter. Interviewers from Data Ascend may also contact members to arrange an interview appointment and will carry identification for verification.
If you receive an email invitation, check that the sender’s email address is correctly spelt and ends with @e.cpf.gov.sg. Messages from the CPF Board may contain links to the CPF website or other Government websites. Before clicking any link, check that its domain ends with “.gov.sg”.
As part of our quality control process, the appointed fieldwork company may contact you again within two months after the interview. This follow-up is to verify that the survey was conducted properly and that the interviewer recorded the information accurately.
Why do you need to ask about my income and how do you ensure that the information provided by me is kept confidential?
Information about income helps us understand the perspectives of different income groups and ensure that our communications and engagement initiatives address their varying needs. We understand that this information is sensitive. You may tell the interviewer if you are not comfortable providing it.
All staff handling the information collected through this survey are required to abide by the safeguards for personal data in the Public Sector Governance Act and the Government Instruction Manuals. This includes respecting the privacy of members of the public and not sharing personal information with any unauthorised parties. All the information you provide will be kept strictly confidential and will not be used in any way that can identify you. To safeguard your data, all data is stored and transmitted securely using appropriate security technologies.
