Why are the excess voluntary top-ups refunded with no interest?
The excess voluntary top-ups can only be determined after all your mandatory contributions have been received for the year. This is usually after the month of January in the following year. The interest on the excess voluntary top-ups which should not be earned by the member will be returned to the Board.
