The admission criteria for the CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) funds are:
- Top 25 percentile of funds in the global peer group
- Total Expense Ratio (TERs) must not exceed the TER caps in the various risk categories:

- 0% sales charge
- Preferably have track record of good performance for at least three years
These criteria aims to raise the quality and lower cost of investments for funds included under the CPFIS.
