The Government helps Singaporeans with their MediShield Life (MSHL) and CareShield Life (CSHL) (if applicable) premiums through Premium Subsidies for the lower- to middle-income, Pioneer Generation and Merdeka Generation seniors. Those who are less well-off will qualify for higher Government subsidies.
Your family members can also help pay for your MSHL and CSHL premiums with their MediSave. They can do so by submitting a
Change Payer request.
Additional Premium Support (APS) helps members who cannot afford their premiums after Government subsidies and have limited family support. Members who need APS may call 1800-222-3399 (or +65 6222 3399) from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm (GMT+8).
No one will lose their MSHL and CSHL (if applicable) coverage due to financial difficulties.
