Upon your passing, your CPF LIFE premium balance and any remaining balances in your CPF accounts will be paid to your beneficiaries. The remaining CPF LIFE premium balance refers to the amount of Retirement Account (RA) savings deducted for the CPF LIFE premium when you joined CPF LIFE minus the total amount of CPF LIFE payouts you received during your lifetime.
*Not applicable to members under the CPF LIFE Income Plan, which does not have a refund feature. As such, beneficiaries will not receive any unused CPF LIFE premium balance upon the member's passing.
