CareShield Life (CSHL) and ElderShield (ESH) Supplement plans are plans which complement basic CSHL and ESH plan by offering additional benefits, such as higher monthly payout amounts or higher disability coverage, which enhance your coverage.
Supplement plans are offered by private insurers such as Singlife, Great Eastern, or Income Insurance. You need to be an existing policyholder under CSHL or ESH to purchase Supplement plans.
There is no restriction on the number of Supplement plans one can purchase. Supplement plans can be paid using MediSave, up to a limit of $600 per calendar year per person insured. Premiums for Supplement plans range widely and are commensurate with the type of benefits they offer. You may refer to the
