If I use my own CPF savings under the CPF Education Loan Scheme, why must I repay the CPF savings withdrawn?
CPF savings are primarily meant for your retirement needs. Any withdrawal of CPF savings will cause your retirement savings to be reduced. Hence it is important that you repay the CPF savings withdrawn under the CPF Education Loan Scheme, including the accrued interest which would otherwise have been earned.

Repayment will be credited into your Ordinary Account.
