I have recovered from a severe disability. Can I join CareShield Life, even if I was previously receiving payouts from ElderShield?
You can join CareShield Life if you have recovered from your severe disability and are able to perform all Activities of Daily Living1 independently, regardless of whether you previously received payouts from ElderShield. You may need to undergo a disability assessment, and will be informed by the Agency of Integrated Care if this is required.
 
1 Activities of Daily Living refers to feeding, dressing, toileting, washing, walking or moving around, and transferring from bed to chair and vice versa.
