I earned income from platform work only and my platform operator(s) is/are making CPF contributions on my behalf. Why did I receive a notice of CPF contributions for self-employed person informing me to make mandatory MediSave contributions?
You will receive a notice of CPF contributions for self-employed persons if your annual net trade income (NTI) exceeds $6,000, after excluding net earnings from platform work declared to CPF Board by your platform operator(s) for work year 2025 onwards.

For work year 2025 onwards, if you only earned income from platform work and received a notice of CPF contributions, please Write To Us so that we can assist with your case. Please provide us with your tax filing consolidated statement issued by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and your earning slips issued by your platform operator(s). If you are on paper returns for tax filing and are not issued a consolidated statement, please provide us with a copy of your paper individual Income Tax Return (Form B) instead.

You may refer to the following steps or the steps to download notices issued by IRAS (including consolidated statement):
  1. Log in to IRAS’ tax portal
  2. Navigate to Inbox > View notices > Individual
  3. Select the notice that you wish to download, and click “Download selected”
If you encounter any difficulties accessing the tax portal or locating notices issued by IRAS, please contact IRAS for assistance.
