I am eligible for both the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme and Matched MediSave Scheme but I have limited funds. Should I top up the Retirement / Special Account or MediSave Account?
If you and your loved ones have limited funds available for CPF top-ups and are eligible for both Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) and Matched MediSave Scheme (MMSS), you can consider which scheme better meets your needs. You may also wish to consider portioning your funds and top up to both your Retirement / Special Account (RA / SA) and MediSave Account (MA) to benefit from both schemes.

If you want to increase your retirement payout, you may consider topping up your RA / SA to benefit from MRSS. If you anticipate higher healthcare spending given your health circumstances, you may consider topping up your MA to benefit from MMSS.

You can refer to this comparison table to learn the key differences between the two schemes.
