As a Trusted Contact, what should I do upon receiving notifications regarding transactions on my appointer’s CPF account?
As a Trusted Contact, you will receive copies of your appointer’s notifications whenever important transactions occur in your appointer’s CPF account. When you receive these notifications, check with your appointer to confirm they made the transaction.

If your appointer has fallen victim to a scam, advise or guide them to take the following steps immediately:
  1. Alert the bank to freeze any affected bank account(s) 
  1. Call Singpass’ 24/7 helpdesk at +65 6335 3533 to reset their Singpass 
  1. Activate the CPF Withdrawal Lock to disable online CPF withdrawals (applicable for members aged 55 and above) 
  1. Lodge a police report and inform CPF Board
