What is CPFV about

What is CPF Volunteering?

CPF Volunteering (CPFV) is an initiative that allows individuals like you to help others improve their understanding of CPF schemes to make informed decisions on the use of their CPF savings.

 

As a volunteer, you can share CPF information and recommend services to support other’s retirement planning. Be part of the Community Paying it Forward movement today. 

How did the “Community Paying it Forward” movement come about?

The Community Paying it Forward movement draws inspiration from the popular concept of “paying it forward” where a recipient of help or an act of kindness does something kind for someone else in turn. In this way, many more people are helped collectively.

 

As CPF is an essential part of retirement planning in Singapore, everyone should learn how to make the most of what the system has to offer. Once we learn how to maximise our CPF savings, we can pay it forward by sharing our knowledge with others.

Your Role

What you can do as a CPF volunteer

You’ll have access to a wide range of volunteering opportunities. Unlike conventional volunteering, CPF volunteers have the flexibility to choose when or how they would like to share CPF information with people around them.

 

As a volunteer, keep in mind to:

1. Be up to date on CPF matters

2. Be impartial and objective when sharing information about CPF, and

3. Follow our code of ethics in our CPF Volunteering app. 

 

We are expanding volunteering opportunities. Active and interested volunteers can also reach out to us to suggest collaborations.

Download the CPFV mobile app available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store and select “Sign up now”. Please ensure that the developer of the application is Central Provident Fund Board.  Once signed up, you can gain access to online resources to help you in your volunteering journey.
