Overview
What is the SGSHARE programme?

SGSHARE is  the national regular-giving programme that supports communities in need.  It is an initiative by Community Chest, the philanthropic arm of the National Council of Social Service, to provide sustained funding for programmes and capability-building for social service agencies serving communities in need. 

 

The CPF Board collects your employees’ SGSHARE donations on behalf of Community Chest, from the employees’ wages made through the company payroll.

How the programme works

Where do SGSHARE donations go?

100% of your employees’ donations are directly channelled to support critical social service programmes and projects empowering:

  • Adults with disabilities 
  • Children with special needs and youth-at-risk 
  • Families in need of assistance
  • Persons with mental health conditions
  • Seniors in need of support

Pay SGSHARE donations together with your CPF contributions

You’re expected to deduct the SGSHARE donations from your employees’ wages. You can pay SGSHARE donations to the CPF Board when making your CPF contributions.

 

If your employees do not wish to contribute to the SGSHARE programme, they can contact the HR department to cease the payroll deduction.
