If you want to pay your CPF contributions from a different bank account, you will need to set up a new DDA arrangement with your new account details.
For online DDA applications, processing takes only minutes. However, please refrain from submitting a new online application to change your bank account while the deduction for your current submission is pending. This is to avoid unsuccessful deduction which may incur late payment interest. If you wish to change the bank account for Direct Debit deduction, you should only submit the new online DDA application after the deduction is successful.
For hardcopy DDA applications, the bank takes about 21 working days to process your DDA application, we’ll continue to deduct CPF contributions from your existing bank account until your new DDA takes effect. Once that happens, we’ll terminate your previous Direct Debit arrangement.
We’ll also update you after the bank has notified us regarding your new DDA application.
