Are corporate service buyers required to make MediSave contributions under Contribute As You Earn (CAYE) for vendors who are both an employee and self-employed person?
Corporate service buyers are required to make MediSave contributions via Contribute As You Earn (CAYE) for vendors who provide their services as self-employed persons, regardless of whether they are concurrently an employee. 
 
If payment is made to the vendor’s company (which hires the vendor as an employee), CAYE is not required. The vendor will continue to receive employee CPF contributions from his/her employer.
