Apply for CPF Submission Number

This service will not be available on <{DDMMYYYY}> from <{hh:mm}>am to <{hh:mm}>am (GMT +8:00) due to scheduled maintenance.

A CPF Submission Number is required for employers to transact with the CPF Board.

Before you can make CPF contributions or transact with us, you need to apply for a CPF Submission Number (CSN).

If you are starting to make mandatory contributions for your employees, apply for a CSN early to ensure that you can submit the contributions in time. The due date for submitting mandatory CPF contributions is the last day of the calendar month. Enforcement action will be taken against employers who fail to pay by the 14th of the following month.

Important notes

  • For UEN-registered entity (e.g. sole proprietorships, private limited companies): Organisations that are registered and issued a UEN by a UEN issuance agency (e.g. ACRA, ROS) should log in as 'UEN-registered entity' to apply for a CSN.  To access the ‘Apply for CPF Submission Number’ online application form, you need to first set up the “CPF SERVICES FOR EMPLOYERS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS” e-service in the Corppass portal and assign to your authorised users.
  • Only individuals that does not have a UEN (e.g. hawker), should log in as 'Individual trading under own name' to apply for a CSN.
