What should I do if there is a change in payer for my tuition fees under the CPF Education Loan Scheme?
If there is a permanent change in payer (CPF member whose CPF savings is withdrawn), please perform the following steps:
1. You have to apply to use the new payer’s CPF Ordinary Account (OA) savings for your education through my cpf Online Services - My Requests using your Singpass. You may check the opening schedule of this application via Application Schedule to Use CPF Savings under the CPF Education Loan Scheme.
2. The current payer has to apply to revoke the use of his/her CPF savings for your education through my cpf Online Services - My Requests using his/her Singpass.
Once we have successfully processed the application to use new payer’s OA and revoked the current payer’s OA usage, the next deduction of fees will come from the new payer's OA. Otherwise, we will continue to deduct the tuition fees from the current payer's OA. Please note that an administrative fee of $10.70 (inclusive of GST) will be charged for each deduction from the CPF member's OA.
