What courses are covered by the CPF Education Loan Scheme?

Only approved full-time courses that are subsidised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and conducted locally at the approved educational institutions are covered by the CPF Education Loan Scheme. To determine your eligibility for the MOE subsidy, please check directly with your educational institution that you will be enrolling with.

Undergraduate Courses

The CPF Education Loan Scheme covers all approved full-time subsidised undergraduate courses leading to a degree at the following institutions:

  • Nanyang Technological University (NTU)*,
  • National University of Singapore (NUS),
  • Singapore Management University (SMU),
  • Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)*,
  • Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD),
  • Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS),
  • Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA)*,
  • LASALLE College of the Arts (LAS)*.

*The approved degree programmes offered by these institutions in partnership with local or overseas universities are also included under the CPF Education Loan Scheme.

Diploma Courses

The CPF Education Loan Scheme covers approved full-time subsidised diploma courses at:

  • LASALLE College of the Arts (LAS),
  • Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA),
  • Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP),
  • Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP),
  • Republic Polytechnic (RP),
  • Singapore Polytechnic (SP),
  • Temasek Polytechnic (TP),
  • Institute of Technical Education (for students pursuing an approved Technical Engineer Diploma (TED) or a Technical Diploma)*.

*The approved diploma programmes offered by these institutions in partnership with overseas universities are also included under the CPF Education Loan Scheme.
