Will interest be imposed on my outstanding premiums if my GIRO application was submitted before the deadline on Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore’s (IRAS) notice?

Interest on your outstanding MediShield Life premiums will not be imposed if your GIRO application is received before the due date stated in IRAS' notice.

However, interest will be imposed if the GIRO application is unsuccessful or if you defaulted on the GIRO payment plan.
