Can I change my address to receive MediShield Life letters to one not registered under ICA/OSCARS as I am concerned of missing letters or others opening my letters?
MediShield Life letters are sent to your residential address registered with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)'s One-Stop Change of Address Reporting Service (OSCARS). It is an offence for another person to wilfully open letters not addressed to them or to intentionally prevent letters from reaching the recipient under the Postal Services Act.
As part of our efforts to facilitate timelier and up-to-date notifications, you will start to receive MediShield Life notifications digitally in place of hardcopy letters from end 2021.
To receive timely notifications on MediShield Life matters, update your contact information with the following steps:
1. On the CPF homepage (cpf.gov.sg), click “Login” to log on to my cpf digital services with Singpass
2. Click the dropdown button from the top right panel and select "Account settings"
3. Select “Update” to update your contact information. An SMS or email One-Time PIN (OTP) will be sent to your new mobile number or email address for verification before the changes take effect.
You can also log in to Healthcare dashboard to check your MediShield Life premiums and subsidies.
