What can I use Flexi-MediSave for?
Flexi-MediSave can be used for outpatient medical treatments (i.e. visits that do not involve a hospital stay or day surgery) received at polyclinics, public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinics and general practitioner clinics participating in the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS).
Flexi-MediSave can cover consultation fees, selected tests and drugs, and other services such as physiotherapy, if ordered by your doctor for diagnosis or treatment of your medical condition.
It cannot be used for non-medical treatments, such as those for cosmetic or lifestyle purposes (e.g. hair loss, slimming etc). It also cannot be used to pay for items from the retail pharmacies, such as skincare products. Non-medical charges such as administrative fees are also not covered.
Flexi-MediSave cannot be used for dental treatments and admissions to the Accident and Emergency department.
