Can I use my MediSave to pay for my approved dependant's renal dialysis?
If your approved dependant’s MediSave is insufficient for his/her own yearly renal dialysis, you may apply to use your MediSave to pay for his/her renal dialysis if you:
- are an active MediSave contributor; and
- have sufficient MediSave balances to support your own healthcare needs, before it is used for your approved dependant's renal dialysis expenses.
Approved dependants refer to your spouse, children, parents, grandparents and siblings. Please note that your grandparents and siblings must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
You may submit an application online by following the steps below:
- Click “Login” on the CPF website, and log in with your Singpass details
- Click "my cpf" and select “My requests”
- Click "Healthcare Matters" and select “Apply to Use MediSave for Approved Dependant’s Renal Dialysis Treatment”
- Check the box to indicate “I have read and accepted the Terms & Conditions above”, and click “Start”
- Complete the E-Form and click “Submit”
We generally aim to inform you of the outcome of your application via our E-Form within three working days.
