How is the 12-month average gross monthly income (AMI) criterion computed?

The 12-month average gross monthly income is defined as:

Sum of income earned in the past 12-month period ÷ Total number of months worked in the past 12-month period

To qualify for WIS:

a) Your 12-month average gross monthly income must not exceed $2,500; and

b) Your gross monthly income must not exceed $2,500.
