How long does it take to process applications relating to Direct Debit/GIRO matters?

The applications relating to Direct Debit/GIRO matters will generally be processed within the service standards as stated in the table below. We strive to process all submitted applications within the service standard and will let you know if more time is needed.

Manual: Within three working days

 *Request to terminate Direct Debit/GIRO arrangement will be processed if there is no pending Direct Debit/GIRO deduction (i.e. have not generated payment file to bank to effect deduction for MediSave payable). Otherwise, processing can only commence two working days after deduction date. Please inform the Board of the terminated Direct Debit/GIRO arrangement if you have performed the termination over at the bank instead.
