How do I request a refund of my excess MediSave contributions?

You may request a refund of your excess MediSave contributions if your:

  1. net trade income is reassessed by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)*, or
  2. payment is made in error^; or
  3. voluntary CPF top ups were made in excess of the CPF Annual Limit for the year. 

Please complete the Refund of CPF/MediSave Contributions by Self-Employed Person form using your Singpass.

*Requests for refund due to reassessment of income by IRAS must be made within one year from the date of the revised Notice of Assessment.

^Requests for refund due to payment made in error must be made within one year from the date of contribution.
