Can I reverse my top-up?

No, cash top-ups and CPF transfers are irreversible. The top-ups/CPF transfers to your Special Account or Retirement Account savings earn a higher interest rate as the savings are locked in for the long-term. This is similar to the market practice where the interest earned on fixed deposits is higher compared to interest earned on savings deposits that are withdrawable anytime.
