Why am I not eligible for the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme if my retirement savings are above the current Basic Retirement Sum?

The Matched Retirement Savings Scheme is designed to help senior Singapore Citizens with lower retirement savings save more and boost their retirement payouts. If your retirement savings are more than the current Basic Retirement Sum, you will not be eligible for the scheme as it is intended to provide additional support to those who need it the most.
