How do I transfer the cash balance from my CPF Investment Account to my Ordinary Account (OA)?
You can do the transfer via your agent bank's ATMs, internet/phone banking or over the counter.
Please note that if your CPF Investment Account has been inactive (i.e. no investment transactions) for two consecutive months, your agent bank will automatically transfer the cash balance to your Ordinary Account (OA) by month end*.
Likewise, if you have been unsuccessful in your Initial Public Offering (IPO) application, your agent bank will automatically transfer the unused CPF monies to your OA by month end*.
* The monies will be transferred on the third last working day of the month. In the event that the third last working day falls on a Saturday, the transfer will take place on the second last working day of the month.
