How do I derive the breakdown of employer and employee's contributions indicated on my Yearly Statement of Account?

The breakdown of the employer and employee's CPF contributions is meant to be indicative as general assumptions were used in the derivation. They are derived based on the amount submitted by your employer(s) in the past year as well as the assumptions below:

1. Employee is a:

  • Singapore Citizen; or
  • 3rd year and onwards Singapore Permanent Resident; or
  • 1st and 2nd year Singapore Permanent Resident who has jointly applied with employer to pay full employer and employee CPF contribution rates;
2. Employee with multiple employments did not apply to limit their share of contribution on Ordinary Wage;

3. Multiple CPF contributions made by the employer in the particular month were calculated on a per transaction basis rather than on an aggregated basis;

4. The following are excluded in the breakdown:
  • Adjustment(s) and refund(s) requested by employer(s);
  • Voluntary CPF contributions made by your employer(s) or yourself; and
  • MediSave contributions as a Self-employed Person.
