How does CPF Board ensure that the new SMS sender ID will not be spoofed by scammers?

The Board has registered the new SMS sender ID with the Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry (SSIR), a setup by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). The SSIR can identify and block spoofed messages upfront, and prevent scammers from pretending to be CPF Board.

Only the Board can send SMSes using the new sender ID. SMSes appearing under “CPF Board” are legitimate messages sent by the Board.

Please remain vigilant as scammers may use variations of a legitimate sender ID to attempt to trick unsuspecting recipients.
