Am I protected against email spoofing or phishing attempts if my email service provider is Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC)-compliant?

No. While Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC) can protect you against scammers who try to impersonate trusted senders, it cannot protect you from scammers who set up their own domains and try to mislead email recipients into mistaking them as legitimate senders. In general, it is good practice to be vigilant when we receive emails, especially if it is from a sender that we don’t know or weren’t expecting to get an email from.
