Why am I receiving a notice on potential vulnerabilities when I launch CPF Mobile?

To safeguard your data, CPF Mobile is equipped with security features which prevent you from using the app when we detect vulnerabilities. This includes malware that may be present when you download the app from non-official sources. If you see a prompt that prevents you from launching CPF Mobile, your device is likely to have malicious app.

You can find out which app to uninstall by scanning your device with V-Key Diagnostic app by V-Key Inc. This can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Upon running the V-Key Diagnostic app, a pop-up notification will appear if there are malicious apps installed on your mobile device. You should be able to login to CPF Mobile after uninstalling these malicious apps.

To better protect yourself, please only download apps from official app stores to avoid malware being installed. You can read up more on how to avoid falling prey to malware scams.

If you continue to encounter issues accessing CPF Mobile and require assistance, please write to us at cpf.gov.sg/appfeedback, with a screenshot of the notification.
