I am an appointed nominee. How will the deceased member's CPF savings be paid to me if I am bankrupt?

If you are an undischarged bankrupt at the time you become entitled to receive the nominated monies, we are legally obliged to inform the Official Assignee ("OA") and transfer the nominated monies to the OA upon their instruction. This is by virtue of the laws in Singapore relating to bankruptcy, which vest the property of a bankrupt in the OA upon the making of a bankruptcy order.

If the deceased member held any discounted Singtel shares, they would be sold upon the OA’s instruction.
