Do I need to notify CPF Board if I get married after making my CPF nomination?

If your marriage is registered with the Singapore Registry of Marriages (ROM) or Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM)

You do not need to notify us of your marriage. However, any CPF nomination you had made previously will be revoked upon your marriage. You are strongly encouraged to make a new CPF nomination so that your CPF savings will be distributed according to your wishes.

If your marriage is not registered with ROM or ROMM

You will be required to complete the Notification of Marriage in relation to CPF Nomination form so that we are informed of your marriage. If you have a CPF nomination made before this marriage, your nomination will be revoked.

Alternatively, you can make a new nomination after getting married if you do not wish to notify us of your marriage. This new nomination will supersede any previous nomination you had made before your marriage.
