Making Voluntary Contributions

One moment please.

I have set up a new company and transferred my existing employees to that company. Do I need to apply for a new CPF Submission Number (CSN)?

You will need to apply for a new CPF Submission Number (CSN) in order to make CPF contributions for a new company.  The CSN is made up of the Unique Entity Number (UEN) and CPF Payment Code, which are unique to the entity.

You can apply for a new CSN on the CPF website, and once processed, a new CSN will be issued. Please provide the employees' account information when making the first payment under the new CSN, as CPF Board is unable to transfer the details from the old CSN. Refer to the "Apply for CSN and Setup CPF EZPay Quick Guide" for more information on CSN application.

You will also need to inform the Board if you cease to engage any employees under the old UEN to prevent late payment penalties.
