Are CPF contributions payable for Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) during NS training?

Under the Enlistment Act, CPF contributions are payable for your employees who are Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) during their NS training.

You have to pay CPF contributions based on their total wages payable to them in each calendar month, including their NS make-up pay from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) or the Singapore Police Force (SPF),  as though as they are not away for NS training.

You have to bear the full employer's share of CPF contribution, and you are entitled to recover the full employee's share from their wages.
