Is CPF payable on the payments for maternity benefits if the employer terminated the employment or retrenched an employee before or after her maternity leave?

CPF contribution is not payable on the compensation or goodwill payments of maternity benefits under the Employment Act or Children Development Co-Savings Act if the employer terminated the employment or retrenched the employee before the employee commenced her maternity leave.
