Why can’t the refund be paid to a non-local bank account since I have provided the bank statement for verification?

To better protect employers from scams, we will only refund to the employer’s Direct Debit account, or OCBC and UOB bank accounts where CPF Board is able to perform automated bank account verification with the banks. This ensures that payment will only be made to a bank account belonging to the employer.

If you have a bank account with any of the eGIRO participating banks, you should apply for DDA online as the refunds made via cheques may take a maximum of 14 working days to reach you.
