| Distribution of CPF savings upon death of a CPF member | Can I use MediSave to pay the last hospitalisation bill? | <p>The deceased member’s MediSave can be used fully to pay for his last hospitalisation bill if he had signed the Medical Claims Authorisation Form (MCAF) before his death.</p><p>If the deceased did not sign the MCAF, his spouse, parents, or child who is 21 years old and above, or donee/deputy can sign the MCAF to use his MediSave savings to pay for the last hospitalisation bill. | Distribution of CPF savings upon death of a CPF member | How do I claim the CPF savings of a family member who has gone missing for many years? | <p>In line with industry practice, the CPF Board treats a person as being alive until the person has been officially registered as deceased. | Withdrawal of CPF by Malaysians residing in West Malaysia | What happens to my investments under CPF Investment Scheme? | <p>For CPF Investment Scheme – Ordinary Account (CPFIS-OA), the Board will inform the agent bank to close your CPF Investment Account. You may approach the bank for the withdrawal<sup>#</sup> of your investments and cash balance (if any) after the Board has notified you. Your investments will be transferred to your own name and you may thereafter liquidate them as you wish and have the sale proceeds paid to you directly.<br><br></p><p>
