The number of Singaporeans taking part in the Minimum Sum Topping-Up scheme last year rose 24 percent compared to 2009, said the CPF Board. Soh Chin Heng, deputy CEO of CPF Board expressed that he would recommend CPF members consider signing up for the top-up on a GIRO basis. Doing so allows top-up to be done on a small sum every month which is manageable.
