There are 2 main sections in the seminar as follows:

• Comparing the various instruments that can be use as a savings vehicle, namely:

• Risk for using shares as long term savings and how to mitigate it
Section 2: Creating a share portfolio for long-term savings
- Mindset and process to create a share portfolio for long-term savings
- Factors to consider in selecting shares for long-term savings
- Overview of shares analyses available in making the right shares investment
About the Instructor:
Chua I-Min, CFA
Chua I-Min, CFA graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration with Honours (2nd Upper), majoring in Finance. He continued his education by earning the CFA charter, one of the most prestigious and well sought after professional designation in the global investment industry. In essence, I-Min has covered finance curriculum equivalent to 7 years of formal education.
Even when he was a student, I-Min has been applying concepts from the text book in the real shares market. He has since honed his investment skills with close to 15 years of share investing experiences. His share portfolio over the years has proven to generate a secondary income stream which enables him to enjoy certain level of financial freedom.
Professionally, I-Min has more than 10 years of working experience with the main portion of the time in the investment industry. Before being a full time trainer, He was an Associate Director with A.B. Maximus where he managed a business division providing CFA preparatory programs. He also provided investment training and consultancy services on project basis. He was previously a real estate investment professional in PhillipCapital and before that Capitaland whereby collectively he had done investment deals amounting to S$250 million, in Japan and China respectively. Prior to that, he was based in China to participate in a successful IPO exercise of a Chinese company in SGX. He started his career in Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) whereby he was exposed to various manufacturing companies supported by EDB.
